Echo Protocol suffers an attack, with hackers minting 1000 eBTC and transferring some of the funds to Tornado Cash

BlockBeats News, May 19th, according to PeckShield monitoring, Echo Protocol was hacked on Monad. The attacker minted 1000 eBTC (about $76.7 million) and used a well-tested process to deposit 45 eBTC (about $3.45 million) into Curvance. Subsequently, they used this as collateral to borrow approximately 11.29 WBTC (about $867,700), bridged the WBTC to Ethereum, exchanged it for ETH, and finally transferred 384 ETH (about $821,700) to Tornado Cash.
