BlockBeats News, June 3rd, the United States Central Command stated that on June 2nd, the U.S. military successfully repelled multiple ballistic missiles and drones launched by Iran, and in response to Iran's attempted attacks throughout the Middle East, carried out a "self-defense strike" on Geshm Island.

Iran launched several ballistic missiles towards its neighboring countries; however, all missiles failed to hit their intended targets. Two of the Iranian missiles aimed at Kuwait did not reach the target area or disintegrated during flight, while three missiles aimed at Bahrain were immediately intercepted by American and Bahraini air defense forces.

Earlier, the U.S. Central Command forces shot down three one-way attack drones launched by Iran; these drones were heading towards civilian vessels lawfully navigating in the region's waters. The U.S. military also conducted a self-defense strike on an Iranian military ground control station located on Geshm Island. No U.S. personnel were injured. The U.S. Central Command forces will remain highly vigilant and ready to repel any unfounded aggression by Iran during the current ceasefire period.
