BlockBeats News, June 30th, Pyth Network announced that Nasdaq has joined the Pyth Data Marketplace as a data provider, and will be the first to distribute Nasdaq TotalView full order book (Depth-of-Book) and opening/closing order imbalance data through Pyth. This is also the first time Nasdaq market data is being distributed through a blockchain network.
Pyth stated that as the market data consumption shifts from traditional terminals to trading systems, fintech platforms, prediction markets, and digital asset trading platforms, the Pyth Data Marketplace provides data providers with a unified distribution channel for both on-chain and off-chain applications, expanding coverage while maintaining data ownership and control.
Nasdaq TotalView is Nasdaq's core market data product for professional traders, providing a complete order book, order information at various price levels, participant attribution data, and including order imbalance data during the opening and closing auction periods.
Currently, data providers in the Pyth Data Marketplace also include the U.S. Department of Commerce, Kalshi, Euronext, Exchange Data International, OTC Markets, SGX FX, and Tradeweb, among others.
