He was held captive for about 30 hours and forced to surrender his cryptocurrency account password after being beaten and threatened.

Furthermore, the kidnappers took his mobile phone and the keys to his rental property. They also entered his residence and took another mobile phone to access the victim's cryptocurrency account.
