BlockBeats News, August 6th - Japanese yen stablecoin issuer JPYC announced the completion of its Series B extension financing, raising a total of approximately 6 billion yen. The company stated that the funds will be primarily used to expand its presence in the financial and Web3 ecosystem, accelerating the social application of the yen stablecoin JPYC.
The announcement revealed that the logistics company AZ-COM Maruwa Holdings Co., Ltd. participated in this investment round. JPYC believes that the integration of stablecoins with the logistics network will help drive the integration of "on-chain finance" in commercial, logistics, and fund settlement scenarios. Currently, JPYC has been issued on four blockchains: Avalanche, Ethereum, Polygon, and Kaia.
