Currently, the open interest (OI) of stock perpetual contracts has approached nearly $6 billion, covering about 200 contracts, all on the same batch of trading platforms where Ethena has already conducted trading. Since March of this year, the market size has grown by over 10 times.

The funding rate of stock perpetual contracts can reach an average of 15%-20%, more than 5 times that of the 2026 Bitcoin funding rate; meanwhile, the correlation between its funding rate and the cryptocurrency market funding rate is close to zero.
