BlockBeats News, April 16th - According to The Block, the U.S. super PAC Sentinel Action Fund, supported by the Solana Foundation, announced that it will join its sister advocacy organization Right Vote in committing $8 million to support Republican Senator Jon Husted in his upcoming election against Sherrod Brown in Ohio, in a bid to prevent former Senator and crypto industry skeptic Sherrod Brown from returning to the Senate.

Documents from the Federal Election Commission show that the Solana Foundation has donated $750,000 to the Sentinel Action Fund, and Multicoin Capital has donated $250,000.
