The report stated that the U.S.-Iran negotiations have been at a standstill for several weeks, with Iran rejecting the U.S.'s demands for significant limits on uranium enrichment and the lifting of the blockade on the Strait of Hormuz. Iran stated on Monday that it has submitted a new counterproposal to the U.S. through Pakistan.

Meanwhile, two Middle Eastern officials revealed that the U.S. and Israel are engaged in the largest military preparations since the ceasefire, with the possibility of resuming military strikes against Iran as soon as this week.
