BlockBeats News, July 27th, Swiss digital asset bank AMINA is collaborating with Wall Street financial institution Cantor to assess potential pathways for future public market entry.
Sources familiar with the matter revealed that AMINA had previously considered going public through methods such as a SPAC but is now more inclined to pursue a listing through a reverse merger with Digital Asset Treasury (DAT). However, discussions are still ongoing, and no final decision has been made yet.
AMINA stated that the company's current focus is on bringing in capital to support strategic growth, rather than simply seeking a quick public listing, with a possible IPO remaining an option for the next stage.
Established in 2018, AMINA, formerly known as SEBA Bank, underwent a name change in 2023. The company is regulated by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA) and is one of the few licensed banks specializing in the digital asset field. Its services include cryptocurrency trading, custody, staking, and lending, and it has expanded its operations to the UAE, Hong Kong, and the Indian market.
In recent years, with crypto companies like Circle, Bullish, Gemini, and others going public, the industry has seen a new wave of IPO frenzy. As of the end of 2025, AMINA had CHF 74.6 million in Tier 1 capital and had raised a total of approximately $2.45 billion.
