BlockBeats News, August 6th, Microsoft (MSFT.O)'s latest disclosure shows that the majority of its artificial intelligence revenue comes from OpenAI. Microsoft stated in a filing submitted last week that in the fiscal year ending in June, Microsoft's revenue from OpenAI reached $24.1 billion.

Microsoft CEO Nadella had previously stated that as of the end of the quarter in March, the company's annualized AI business revenue is expected to reach $37 billion.

This disclosure indicates that in the most recent fiscal year, OpenAI contributed to over half of Microsoft's actual AI revenue and potentially around 70%. Under the agreement between the two companies, OpenAI pays Microsoft for computing costs, AI model development expenses, and a portion of the revenue sharing.
