BlockBeats News, August 13, Bitcoin treasury company Nakamoto Inc. released its Q2 2026 financial report, the first full quarter of operation as an integrated Bitcoin enterprise. Total operating revenue was $35.9 million, with $25.6 million contributed by media information services and asset management business, and $10.4 million contributed by Bitcoin treasury and derivatives strategies. Adjusted operating profit was $7.3 million, achieving positive earnings for the first time; however, GAAP operating loss was $149.1 million, mainly due to a $105.2 million non-cash goodwill impairment and a $48.7 million loss in Bitcoin fair value. Net loss was $133 million, with a diluted loss per share of $6.65. The company also reduced its outstanding debt by approximately $45 million and extended $105 million in principal to June 30, 2027. As of June 30, the company held 4,467 bitcoins, with a fair value of approximately $261.5 million.
Nakamoto's Chairman and CEO, David Bailey, stated that the company hosted the world's largest Bitcoin event, Bitcoin 2026, in this quarter, facilitated 210k Capital Fund's first settlement-based Bitcoin ETF transaction through a primary broker and DTCC settlement, and reduced approximately $45 million in debt. He emphasized that "Nakamoto is entering the second half of the year with a stronger balance sheet, a more focused strategy, and a business orientation towards the Bitcoin economy."
