BlockBeats News, August 18th, according to on-chain analysis firm LookIntoBitcoin, as Bitcoin briefly surged above $65,000, a high-leverage "whale" address 0x8c96 saw its 1,800 BTC short position (approximately $117 million) partially liquidated, with 360 BTC (around $23.36 million) being liquidated.

The address currently holds a remaining 1,440 BTC short position (about $93.3 million), with a new liquidation price of $65,041.72.
