BlockBeats News, May 24th: The Russian government has expanded the information required to be submitted to the tax authorities by miners and mining infrastructure operators. According to the new decree, the national registration information of miners and operators will now include the network addresses of mining equipment (ASIC miners). The Russian Ministry of Finance stated that this measure will help streamline the regulation of digital asset transactions and investigations into violations, as well as facilitate monitoring by the power grid operators of infrastructure loads in mining-dense areas.

Under current regulations, Russian miners have already been required to regularly update information such as miner manufacturer, model, serial number, algorithm, hash rate, power consumption, operation mode, mined cryptocurrency, output, mining pool, and online statistics links. (Bits Media)
