BlockBeats News, July 17th, BMO Capital raised Alphabet's price target from $435 to $455 and maintained an "Outperform" rating on the stock.
The BMO Capital research report pointed out that the fourth-quarter and 2027 fiscal year Google Cloud forecasts were raised by 2% and 13%, respectively, aligning its forecasts with consensus and receiving support from strong cloud expert checks, scalability, and the company's significant backlog.
Furthermore, the story of Google's search dominance remains intact, with mid to high double-digit growth. However, new issues surrounding the Gemini model's intelligence are emerging. Reportedly, Gemini Pro 3.5 has been delayed due to insufficient benchmark testing, the company added.
