BlockBeats News, August 20th, Crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett reported that the head of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) stated at the SALT Conference in Wyoming that compared to the Biden administration, digital asset-related charter activities have increased 8-fold. He also referred to the previous administration's attempt to "eliminate risk" as "extremely short-sighted."
The OCC expects to finalize the rules related to the "GENIUS Act" by November and will make adjustments to the rules based on feedback from the crypto industry.
