BlockBeats News, August 28th, the prediction market platform Polymarket US has withdrawn two NFL player participation contract applications. These contracts were certified by the CFTC just the day before and were scheduled to be listed the day before being withdrawn. The platform did not publicly disclose the reason. The contract is based on whether the player has participated in at least one offensive or defensive play, intending to settle based on NFL official game records and classified as a binary option-like swap.
On the same day, Polymarket certified Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana price contracts with the CFTC, also as paired binary option-like swap contracts.
