The delegation includes Iranian Islamic Parliament Speaker Ghalibaf and Foreign Minister Araghchi.

The talks aim to discuss the possibility of a US-Iran agreement and an end to the war. The official, who declined to be named, said the talks will focus on issues including the Strait of Hormuz, Iran's high-enriched uranium stockpile, and Iran's overseas frozen assets. The Governor of the Central Bank of Iran is responsible for discussing financial-related matters that may be part of the final agreement.
