BlockBeats News, August 14th, UBS's 13F filing revealed that as of June 30th, it held approximately 2.5 million shares of BlackRock's Bitcoin spot ETF, IBIT, with a holding value of nearly $90 million. This marks a 355% increase in the number of shares held compared to around 549,000 shares at the end of 2025, and a 230% increase in holding value from around $27 million.

It is important to note that the 13F filing does not specify whether these IBIT shares belong to UBS's own funds or its clients' assets, so it cannot be simply interpreted as UBS directly investing $90 million to purchase Bitcoin.
