BlockBeats News, May 18th - According to PeckShield monitoring, Verus' Verus-Ethereum Bridge has been hacked, with the lost assets including 103.6 tBTC, 1625 ETH, and 147,000 USDC. The hacker subsequently exchanged the stolen assets for approximately 5402.4 ETH. The attacker's address obtained the initial funding of 1 ETH about 14 hours ago through the mixer protocol Tornado Cash.
