AEON stated that the new funds will be used to build a settlement infrastructure for value exchange between AI Agents, creating a "financial bedrock for the AI Economy era." The company announced that its first AI payment product went live in May, enabling AI Agents to access over 50 million real merchants worldwide.

Furthermore, AEON has partnered with BNB Chain to launch the x402 Facilitator, a product built on the BNB Chain that provides ecosystem service providers with verifiable transactions, on-chain settlement, and tamper-proof receipts.
