BlockBeats News, July 1st, according to Public Citizen data, Ripple, Coinbase, and other cryptocurrency companies have contributed $189 million towards the 2026 US midterm elections. The cryptocurrency companies collectively account for 37% of the $517 million in corporate political donations.

Previously, during the 2024 US presidential election, the cryptocurrency industry's political donations amounted to around $160 million. The cryptocurrency industry accelerated its lobbying efforts after the Trump administration came to power, seeking to solidify the regulatory relief gains.
