BlockBeats News, July 23rd – South Korean President Lee Jae-myung is scheduled to meet with several global AI leaders in San Francisco during his visit to the United States this week, aiming to strengthen South Korea's position in the global artificial intelligence field and promote substantive cooperation. Lee Jae-myung is set to hold separate meetings with Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei, and Broadcom CEO Hock Tan. Additionally, Lee Jae-myung will attend the San Francisco AI Summit and witness the signing of cooperation agreements between South Korean companies and tech giants. Leaders of South Korean companies such as Samsung Electronics (Lee Jae-yong), SK Group, Hyundai Motor, Naver, among others, will also concurrently meet with the aforementioned AI leaders.

Analysts point out that Lee Jae-myung's actions will strengthen South Korea's role in the global AI industry chain, particularly in the areas of High Bandwidth Memory (HBM), GPU, AI infrastructure, and Generative AI services cooperation. This summit will send a strong signal to the market, boosting confidence in AI infrastructure investment, especially against the backdrop of the current tech stock pullback. (The Korea Times)
