Founded in 2023, Taalas is based in Toronto, Canada, and focuses on significantly reducing the compute and memory bottlenecks caused by general-purpose architectures by optimizing the inference data flow, enabling efficient AI inference capabilities. AMD plans to integrate Taalas' technology into its full-stack AI platform, including the AMD Helios rack-level solution, AMD Instinct GPU, AMD EPYC CPU, and AMD ROCm software, to provide a system-level solution.
