BlockBeats News, August 15th

Last week, Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs saw a total of $1.1 billion in inflows, ending a trend of mostly continuous outflows since 2026 and signaling a resurgence of institutional funds into the crypto asset market.

Among them, BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF IBIT was the main source of funds, accounting for approximately 80% of the Bitcoin ETF inflow. However, market trading activity remained relatively subdued, with BTC ETF trading volume hitting the second lowest level since October 2024.

Previously, BTC and ETH ETFs had experienced continuous outflow pressure. With improved market sentiment, institutional investors are increasing their digital asset allocations again, leading to a significant reversal in ETF fund flows.

Market analysis believes that IBIT continues to be the main channel for institutional funds entering the Bitcoin market, indicating that traditional financial institutions still prefer to gain exposure to crypto assets through regulated ETF tools.
