BlockBeats News, August 18th, Ethereum Foundation core developer Sina Mahmoodi announced today that he is officially leaving the EF after working for over 7 years. He joined the Ethereum Foundation shortly after graduating from university in 2019 and was involved in EthereumJS (TypeScript/JavaScript implementation of Ethereum execution layer), eWASM (Ethereum WebAssembly project), and most importantly, Geth (Go-Ethereum, one of Ethereum's core execution layer clients).

Sina Mahmoodi said he feels very fortunate to have worked with some of the smartest and most dedicated people on something he truly believes in. He is especially proud of his work on Geth, which has supported Ethereum through various challenging times and has become a key infrastructure of the vast ecosystem. His conviction in Ethereum remains unchanged: it is an open, global settlement layer that does not rely on any single government, company, or center of power, and he believes it is worth continuing to build upon.
