BlockBeats News, August 18th, according to BIT (Bit.com) market data, the metaverse company Super League's stock surged over 20% in pre-market trading, with a market capitalization reaching $5.11 million.

On the news front, Metaplanet will inject 2,100 BTC, worth about $132 million, into the Nasdaq-listed company Super League (SLE), and provide an additional $2.5 million in cash. Super League will rebrand as "Superplanet," and the stock symbol is set to be changed to SUPA.

Upon completion of the transaction, Metaplanet is expected to hold approximately 95.7% of Superplanet's shares, creating a Bitcoin treasury platform listed in the United States to leverage the U.S. capital market for financing.
