Dynamic Beating AI News Flash: Alibaba has launched a brand-new Qoder, transforming its previously developer-centric product into an intelligent workspace for everyone. Users no longer need to start from code. By simply stating their goals, Qoder can autonomously plan, invoke tools, and execute tasks such as prototyping, data processing, and file organization.

Qoder is now divided into two modes: "Coding" and "General." The Coding mode continues to focus on code and development tasks, while the General mode targets a broader user base. On August 12, Alibaba renamed its original Qoder desktop application to Qoder IDE, and now introduces a General workspace under the name Qoder.

At its core lies the Coding Agent capability accumulated over the past year. It integrates models like Qwen3.8-Max, which can automatically select models, as well as connect to over 40 connectors, over 70 plugins, and over 20,000 skills. Users can outline plans with Plan, persistently pursue goals with Goal, and handle side tasks simultaneously with Side Task. Real-time voice, recording summaries, and desktop pets are also included.

During the launch period, there is also a wave of free credits. Individual users can receive 500 Qwen exclusive credits per day for 5 consecutive days, up to a maximum of 2500 credits; corporate users invoking Qwen series models in the new Qoder will receive a direct 50% discount.
