Bitcoin Holds Above $65,000 as ETF Inflows Meet Renewed Selling Pressure
  • BTC0%

CoinEx News: Bitcoin returned above $65,000 as US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded $853 million in net inflows from August 3 to 7, their strongest week since mid-April, according to SoSoValue. CryptoQuant reported that leveraged funds in CME Bitcoin futures had turned net long, while Sweden-listed H100 Group acquired 2,455.4 BTC at an average price of $62,900, raising its holdings to 3,506 BTC.

Selling pressure remains. Lookonchain tracked a whale that disposed of 7,513 BTC, worth about $487 million, over three weeks. Its latest transfer of 1,019 BTC to a centralized exchange on August 10 could add near-term supply. Empery Digital has also sold 1,635 BTC for $102.2 million since July; with 954 BTC pledged against $35 million of debt, only 325 BTC remains unrestricted.

ETF inflows and corporate purchases suggest demand around $65,000, but loss-driven exits and treasury deleveraging may limit the rebound. Traders should watch whether ETF inflows persist and whether large exchange deposits translate into actual selling.
