CoinEx News: On August 31, 2026, Injective stopped minting new blocks for a brief stretch. Community readings of the chain point to a bug in Injective’s built-in binary-options book — a yes/no market that settles when an event hits — and to coins leaving a shared exchange pool for Ethereum. As of September 1, 2026, @injective and the official notice channel @injectiveann still had no incident post. Mods in the official Telegram chat said the base chain was fine and called it a partner-app hit. A figure of about $3.2 million is circulating in that chat as a community guess, not an official loss number.
